Urine Test --
This guy has a point!
This was written by a construction worker in Fort McMurray .
Read on . . ..
I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes, and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to earn that pay check, I work on a rig site for a Fort McMurray construction project. At any time I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. HOWEVER, what I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Understand - I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sit on their a$$, drink beer and smoke dope. Could you imagine how much money this country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? If you agree, please pass this along, or simply delete if you don't. Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to change in this country.

Seems to be a bit of a whiner, cryin' neoconservative type. Its also evident he is a big fan of big government - suggesting drug screening for folks receiving "public assistance". Does he think the private sector is gonna pay for the drug screening.

Sheeeesh and woooooooboy....

Another way to get the losers who lay on their ass and do drugs and get paid for it to get up off their couches and contribute to society.

lets quit invading the privacy of the workers, and STOP drug testing THEM.

You can test the non workers all you want, of course. I dont really care. As far as I'm concerned: if you surrender your care to the state...well, you surrender your care to the state.

You know, those Wall Street tycoons who gambled with everybody's retirement money, and lost big time. There is more cocaine snorted on Wall Street than any Main Street.

Wouldn't it save more money to get the drug addled corporate welfare addicts off the public dole? We've dishing out trillions of dollars to pay for their drug induced bad decisions over the last decade.

Oh, I didn't realize you righties only want drug testing for poor people.:082502yes_prv:

Those wall street guys gave more money to the Democrats than they did anyone else.

Take a look at who AIG gave money to. 90% of it went to Democrats. Thats why they are being bailed out by Obama.

Just ask Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd.

Let's see where campaign contributions from our favorite "bailout industries" actually have gone over the last few years....

Commercial banks favor Republicans in every election cycle since 1994... (http://www.opensecrets.org/industries/indus.php?ind=F03)

Insurance companies heavily favor Republicans in every election cycle since 1992... (http://www.opensecrets.org/industries/indus.php?ind=F09)

AIG and it's affiliates contributed heavily to both parties.... (http://www.opensecrets.org/orgs/affiliates.php?id=D000000123&type=P&sort=&cycle=A)

"Over time, AIG hasn't shown an especially partisan streak, splitting evenly the $9.3 million it has contributed since 1989"... (http://www.opensecrets.org/news/2009/03/before-the-fall-aig-payouts-we.html)

You moron. If you cant see the difference between drug testing people who sit and do nothing all day while you pay for it against people who get up everyday and go to work then you are a bigger idiot than I thought. The majority of Americans who work have to take drug tests to stay EMPLOYED, while their money is taken and given to nothings for doing nothing. Please.

Anytime you invest money there is a chance for loss or gain. ZERO gain in giving money to losers who sit in their recliners all day, talk on their cell phones and eat Big Mac's with my money. But, of course, thats the Liberal whackjob way: give money to people that do nothing for it and keep them down. Easy way to keep getting votes though huh?

Tell me again Polio what the Nat. Debt will be in 2 years, then 4, then 6, then 8... how many trillion again? HAW HAW HAW HAW

You damn fool.

It's done to reduce the risk of loss to an organization. Perhaps loss due to theft by an addict. Or loss due to malpractice. Or loss due to bad decisions, such as driving impared, or selling naked derivatives.

It's obvious that the people who can cause the greatest harm, are the bankers who just destroyed America's economy through greed, avarice, and bad, bad decisions, many of which were made under drug imparement.

How many people does the unemployed guy sitting at home potentially harm if he snorts or smokes some drugs? Maybe himself and immediate family or a few people outside that circle. But not the millions and billions of people who will suffer bacause we didn't drug test Wall Street millionaires.

As usual, Leggie, you are confused and looking at this issue from the wrong perspective.
